My Anushka (Canon Ad) Inspired Smokey Eye Look


Hey People,

All of you must have seen the new CANON Ad with Anushka Sharma, I just so love her makeup and wardrobe; in fact her whole look is very alluring. I specially like the way her eyes are done, the smokiness coming from the kajal, smudged at the lower lash line.  I have tried to copy this look a couple of times, and below I am sharing with you guys my attempt and FOTD.
Starting with the products used for this look:



 MAC Painterly Paint Pot
 KIKO Sheer Lipstick
  Vedic Line+ BB Cream
  Revlon Eye Shadow Palette – Naturally Glamorous
  Lakme Kohl Ultimate (reviewed here)
 Lakme Lash Artist Mascara

My EOTD:


Started off with applying Vedic Line+ BB to my cleansed and moisturized face. Then applied painterly paint pot to my entire eye lid. Next, I applied darkest brown eye shadow from the eyeshadow palette only to the upper eyelid crease and blended using a wiper motion. Lined the eyes with Lakme Kohl, and smudged the kohl on the outer 1/3 of the lower lash line. Finished the eye makeup with two coats of Lakme Lash Artist Mascara.


Applied the KIKO sheer lipstick to finish my FOTD (shown below):

    it quite simple and sec-c smoky eye tutorial... not with much primers and umpteen number of eye shadows... can be done very quickly too.. i loved it and am def going to try it too....

    same thoughts as Raaga..u could have intensified, specially the lower lash line n go a bit smokey brown for the upper...but this is also nice n frsh! i particularly loved how you kept the inner corners of lower lashes bare..it opened up the eyes :)
