Hello Girls,
TGIF (smiles and hugs), I guess the new year has not just sunk in and I already need a big break. Thank god for two days of serenity (I hope). Today, will be sharing my new found love from Kerastase, the Kerastase Bain Volumactive Shampoo. I had been wanting to try out this brand since eternity but sadly they were not available at any retail stores or even departmental stores here. Only some salons stocked them.
Then one day, while window shopping online, I saw these at Purplle (a new e-shopping website), you can find the link in my right side bar. I knew then and there that I had to get it. So I ordered it in less than a minute and waited for my order, anxiously wanting to try it.
Price: INR 1400 for 250 ml of the product. The packaging is quiet basic but effective. The product is housed in a light green translucent bottle with a screw top cap covering the dispensing portion of the bottle.

Swatch:
As you can see from the swatch above the product has a slight pearly quality, which I quiet like. Also, the shampoo is not very thin and flowy but has a decent viscosity. A litlle is enough for my medium length hair. The shampoo cleanses my hair effectively and volumizes them from root to tip. Also, the shampoo provides a very nice shine to my hair from root to tip. The volumizing effect is also miraculous. Now I am planning to buy the conditioner as well to provide strength to my hair as well.
Also, I have noticed very less hairfall whenever I use this shampoo. It has been by far the best shampoo for my hair even though it is expensive.
Product rating: A, available at select salons and online websites. Would recommend this to everyone as Kerastase has a shampoo for each hair type, greying, dandruff, dry or otherwise. Personally would love to try more products from this range.
Take care...
