Clarins White Plus Launch Party at The Westin, Gurgaon

Hello Girls,

Hope all of you had a great weekend, mine was so much good 'cause of Clarins White Plus Launch Party  hosted together by Vellvette and Clarins at the Westin, Gurgaon on Saturday. Initially, I was a bit sceptical about attending it but then I decided to go and I am so happy that I attended. I have to thank the lovely Vineeta from Vellvette as well as Richa and Bharti from the Clarins team to make the event so special and personalised for me.

So, here I have a few pics from the event to share with all of you. Vineeta greeted all of us with equal enthusiasm and went all the way out to make us feel comfortable. We were pampered with goodies, skin care sessions, and awesome food. We were introduced to the lovely range of Clarins products at the event both skin care and makeup:

I met several beauty bloggers and a special mention must go to Shilpa from Our Extenal World with whom I spent a lot of time. She came across as a really nice and genuine person. We had so much in common, in fact we had the same Nokia N8's. She also helped me with a phone call as my phone battery died down (after too much photographing). Thank you so much Shilpa, it was a pleasure meeting you !!!

Then it was time to sample some really awesome food and coffee, which the team had laid out for us:

After the awesome food, it was time for some skin pampering sessions. There were Clarins skin analysts who handled the sessions really well. I was assigned to Joyce who went through the form I had filled upon arrival, listing the various skin concerns I had and then proceeded with a kin analysis. Then she explained me the skin care routine I should follow and the products from various Clarins ranges as well as the White plus range suited to my skin type.

I must say I felt really good and refreshed after the session. I really liked the eye cream she used on me and I placed an order as well, since they didn't have it right there, they said it would be delivered at my place. I received an addtional 10% discount as well.

The Clarins one had samples for Beauty Flash Balm, White Plus Emulsion, White Plus Serum, as well as UV Plus Sunscreen:

Vellvette goodie bag had chocolates, a lovely lavender scented candle, nail art stickers, TBS detangling comb and a lovely, dainty anklet:

Apart from the goodie bags, we got a refund for INR 500, which was a nominal fee to book your seat at the event. We could also use that refund to but a lip product from 3 lip glosses, 5 lipsticks, and four tinted lip balms.  I choose a beautiful pinky lip balm, forgot to take a pic of it though, will do a review real soon :)

Overall, a great experience and pampering session with the Clarins and Vellvette team, thank you for making the event so special and personalized. Hope to see you guys soon !!!
