Nourish Madras Coffee Madness Body Scrub

Ever since I have used Nourish LemonKneez Body Scrub, I wanted to try more scrubs from this brand. When I saw this one available on Flipkart, I ordered it immediately. I was super excited as it had crushed coffee beans which is a major ingredient for anti-cellulite creams.Read on to know more about my experience...

Price: INR 345 for 240 gm of product. The packaging was similar to Lemonkneez and the body scrub was stored in a plastic tub with a aluminium screw lid, which makes the packaging look a bit tacky. I hope they change the cap pretty soon and replace it with something classier.

As most of you know by now that I am a full-time working professional along with being a mother that I rarely find time to pamper myself. But body scrub is one weekly ritual that I indulge in every weekend in the privacy of my bathroom to pamper myself. Therefore, I am always on the lookout for exciting body scrubs. During one such search, I came across four body scrubs from Nourish (they make excellent soaps as well) and decided to go ahead and see if they were actually worth the money (hmmm, as if the shopaholic me ever lets me care).
My first impression on opening the tub was excellent as a heavenly coffee aroma surrounded me and captivated my senses making me feel rejuvenated at once. The sugar particles are well grounded and scrub your skin gently without any scratches (relief!!!). But, the same cannot be said for the coffee granulaes. As you can see from the picture above, they are bigger in size, don't melt (obviously) are harsher on the skin. The coffee particles didn't do much for my cellulite as well, there were as many bumps on my skin as there were prior to using this scrub.
After washing the scrub away, my skin feels super hydrated and soft, though cellulite marks are as much there. Overall, a nice scrub but I wish they had ground the coffee particles a little bit more :).

Product rating: B+, available at most online stores and Nourish outlets. Personally, I am loving Nourish sugar scrubs, but I may not buy Madras Coffee Madness Body Scrub again. I have two more scrubs to try from this range so stay tuned for more reviews.
