How are you guys doing today, I have been MIA for a long, long time now. The reasons being my ill-health and then the casacding effect on the rest of my family. So, the whole of last week was spent in recuperation for all of you. Anyhow, I am back with a not-so-new product from Lakme, the Lakme Sun Expert Skin Lightening + De-Tan After Sun Gel.
Price: INR 175 for 50 gm of the product. I quiet like the chotu tub packaging. It's sturdy, lightweight, and travel friendly. Also, the shape of the tub is quiet interesting, it looks like a drop of water trickling down.

The gel itself is colorless and very, very light weight and non-film forming (texture-wise). The gel absorbs quickly into the skin and gives instant cooling effect and moisturization to the skin. The gel has a wonderful cucumber-y smell, which makes me feel instantly refreshed. As far as the skin lightening / de-tanning property is concerned, I didn't notice significant changes / improvements.
Product rating: B+, available at all Lakme counters and online beauty websites. Would definitely recommend this to all facing the summery heat and looking for some cooling solution to their sunburnt skin. Personally I use it as a night cream as anything else is too greasy on my skin during these hot / humid months and the Lakme Sun Expert Skin Lightening + De-Tan After Sun Gel provides the right amount of moisture to my skin.
