Hello beauties,
There are some things that you crave, some things which you want, and some things which turn you into the most impulsive shopper ever...
The new Lakme Absolute Matte Lip Pouts all into the last category of thongs, which turned me into an impulsive shopper with the vibrant range of colors (PHEW, that was quite a mouthful...)
So, I got three pretty, pweety and bold shades: Pink Fantasy, Tangy Tangerine, and Victorian Rose
Swatches below (Top to Bottom): Tangy Tangerine, Victorian Rose, and Pink Fantasy
Well, after taking these pictures, I have used them and they are extremely, extremely matte (of the dry kind). You need super exfoliated and well moisturized lips to make them look awesome.
The staying power is quiet good, but you would need to apply a lip balm on top after every 3-4 hours (at least for my lips), else they start peeling off your lips. Also, they do survive mild oily eating and drinking. The staining power of these lip balms are good and one needs a makeup remover to get them off lips.
But, I love these for the vibrant colors and depth of shades they provide. I have Revlon Matte Balms as well (which are not so drying), but I love ze colures.
Have you tried the new Lakme lip balms? Do tell me your favorite shades from the collection.
See ya...
