Hello beauties,
Am enjoying dilli ki sardi wali mrning (with a cup of hot tea of course) as I am writing this post. It's been a few days since I have written anything, which is not due to lack of topics/subjects but due to an obvious lack of time (ahhh.. the sweet pleasures of being a working mom). But enough ranting and let's get on with today's post.
This post is another one in my wedding lookbook series, which I have been posting over the course of last two months (read HERE and HERE).
For today's Sangeet look I have chosen a white anarkali with lacework embroidery throughout the skirt. It also has a very pretty kundan embellished neckline, which for me renders neckpiece totally non-essential. I have teamed this anarkali with heavy victorian earrings and some rings on the finger. The dress has lot going on, so I have kept the accessories to a minimal.
A few more pics:
Dress: Bought from my (upcoming) designer friend
Jewellery: Costume (from various sources)
This outfit works perfectly for me as it looks very chic yet traditionally heavy (if you understand what I mean, rolling eyes). It requires minimal jewellery accompaniments (a nice pair of earrings and you are good to go). Also, the dress allows easy yet graceful movements during sangeet/sagan.
What are your outfit choices for sagan/sangeet? Do let me know in the comments below.
See ya...
It's magnificent.I am really preferring the latest fashion of Ethnic Statement necklaces. Isn't it amazing for deep neck and off shoulder dresses?
