Hello beauties,
With the Christmas/New Year Festivities warming up the winters, one eye makeup look that just refuses to budge out of fashion is the winged eyeliner look. The winged eye makes you look like the perfect fashionista and make you look super glam even if you haven't put in much effort in the rest of the makeup.
Please note that I am not wearing any base makeup in the following pics, only a lip stain, an eyebrow pencil and winged eyeliner.
So, here are the five steps that I follow to get that perfect winged eyeliner everytime I am in a rush and have just 10 minutes to spend on my makeup. The perfect wing with deepened crease ('cause I have hooded eyes) and some bright lipstick makes me look and feel like a diva. And it is very important to look great if you want to feel great and rule the world!
So, let's start!
You will require an eyeliner of your choice to achieve this look. I am currently obsessed over Maybelline Hyper glossy Eyeliner as it is the holiday season and I love a bit of gloss on my eyes. However, you can choose any matte/glitter/sparkly/liquid/felt tipped eyeliner of your choice with a thin/thick brush as per your preference.
Please note: If you are using a liquid eyeliner, make sure that your brush is not dripping with product. Clean up the excess on the sides of the bottle. If you are using a felt tipped eyeliner, then you don't need to follow this step.
Step 1: Follow your lower lash line and make a flick upwards as an extension of your lower lash line.
Step 2: Line your upper lash line as you would do normally.
Step 3: Draw a triangle from the tip of the flick created in the first step to the base line created in step 2.
Step 4: Smoothen out the edges using short strokes to make your winged eyeliner look seamless.
Step 5: Fill in the triangle formed with the black eyeliner.
And you have just created a perfectly winged eyeliner. You can now go and rock the party season!
Try this technique to get the perfect winged eyeliner and let me know your success in the comments below.
See ya...
