Hello beauties,
Defining my brows has become a new obsession of mine, ever since I noticed them bringing back a youthful energy to my face. I don't have dense eyebrows since childhood and therefore fill them often, now almost on a daily basis.
Generally I use a matte brown eyeshadow powder as black looks too harsh. I have seen my mother using an eyebrow pencil as far as I can remember, but couldn't fathom the use of the same as my eyeshadows were multi tasking as eyebrow filler for me.
But then I saw this sharp-enable eyebrow pencil with brush on the cap from Essence and bought it as a spur of the moment thing, rest as they say is history...
Price: 2 euros for 0.035 oz of the product.
A closer look at the brush:

I have been on the lookout for a good eyebrow pencil since long as I feel that though powder makes for a good brow filler, the pencil with it's waxy component grooms your brow hair better. So, when I spotted this cute one with a brush as well, I decided to give it a go.
This product did give a liking for Essence products as even though it's a budget buy, the quality is nice and the pencil gives good pigmentation closely matching the hair color of my brows and giving them a fuller appearance in no time. The waxy component sets the hair in place as well. The brush I quiet like as it helps me in spreading the product and achieving the correct brow shape in no time.
The pencil is sturdy and not too waxy for it to break/melt away. It gives good color payoff once you start filling up your brows, but it is not too hard to feel scratchy. For me, its a good, sturdy and simple eyebrow pencil which helps me fill in my brows effortlessly.
All in all, I have only good thing to say about this pencil, I saw this available in a few colors as well, but I so wish if we had products from Essence in India as well. It's a budget brand but a very good one at that.
I am wearing this eyebrow pencil in my recently posted tutorial on winged eyeliner:
