Hello beauties,
Monsoons are here in full flow and they are taking a huge toll on my hair as well as skin. My face has experiences an unusual spurt in acne growth on my cheeks over the past few months (gross!!!). I have been trying various options to calm them down but to no avail. I shifted to time tested options but they helped only to an extent.
Then, I got the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo(+), highly raved, reviewed and loved product of many beauty bloggers. Read on to know how it fared for my skin...
Price: INR 1350 for 40 ml of the product.

If I have to sum up the product in one word, it would be AWESOME!
Yes, that is how much I like it. Let me tell you some salient features of this product:
- The product has a cream like consistency, but it is not overly moisturizing or drying.
- The tube packaging is great and hygienic. However, since it is opaque you are left clueless about the quantity of product remaining.
- The cream is very lightweight and spreads easily on the skin without stretching or tugging!
- The cream has a faint pleasant smell which dissipates quickly.
- The cream is non-greasy.
- A bit expensive for the quantity but super effective and you require a small amount to cover the entire face.
- Good at treating existing and upcoming pimples/acne, however doesn't reduce or prevent the outbreaks all together.
- Good for lightening/fading the pimple marks.
- Does what it claims, shows results within a week.
- Helped clear up the blocked pores and skin colored bumps from my face.
- I bought it online and have seen it at some chemist stores as well. So availability is not an issue now!
Sadly, I don't have a before and after for my pimples, but the scars are fewer/smaller and my skin looks really clear (at least for the time being). There have been 2 minor and 1 major eruption since the time I started using it, but they have settled down within a week without boiling up!
A really good product for my skin for now!
