Diwali 2017 Makeup 3: Kitten Flick Eyeliner with Fresh Glowing Skin

The 5 days full of festivities and fervor have finally arrived!

And while Diwali is just two days away, today marks an auspicious occasion for many a households and business houses. Ever since I was a kid, we would always go out and buy a something new for our house, be it the not-so-grand broom or a new utensil or a new oven or a new piece of jewelry. These traditions though age old have taken a back seat in today's busy lifestyles, I still try to buy something new on this day for my home :)

The focus of today's look was more on the skin. I wanted to go for a fresh, glowing from within skin kind of skin. So I mixed two highlighters (a pink and a champagne one) with my foundation itself to give my skin an overall glow. Then I went ahead and did some light contouring,bronzing, and highlighting to get that GLOW!

 

For the eyes, there was a very light dusting of almost nude eyeshadow on the upper lids to give some shape and definition to the eyes followed by my favorite feline flick eyeliner. Big, bold eyebrows provide definition to the eyes and the nudest lipstick on your lips finishes up the makeup look.

Foundation: Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in shade 50 Beige (mixed a small amount of Ricepaper from MAC and Highbeam from Benefit)

Concealer: MAC Prolongwear Concealer in NC35

Powder: MAC Sheer Select Pressed Powder NC30

Blush: None

Highlighter: the Balm Cosmetics Mary Luminizer (applied heavily)
Contour: Smashbox Contour Kit

Eyeshadow: Matte Brown in the crease (blended well) to give some definition to the eyes

Mascara: L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Butterfly Waterproof Mascara

Eyeliner: Sugar WaterProof Eyeliner

Eyebrows: Essence Eyepencil in brown

Lipstick: Used Inglot Lip pencil #67 (closest match to my nude lips)
