Lavera Re-Energizing Sleeping Cream Photos, Review

Hello beauties,

Today, I am reviewing a new product in my vanity, Lavera Re-Energizing Sleeping Cream. I have added this cream into my night time regime as the weather permits me to use heaavier creams with miraculous ingredients to pamper my skin. You see, I have a typical acne prone skin, which doesn't allow me to use products heavier than an aloe vera gel on my face. Anyways, coming back to the present, read on to know about my skin's experience with this cream.

Price: I got this for 15 euros (you do the maths :))

Ingredient list:

I am  really happy with the ingredient list, no chemicals whatsoever. I have developed an aversion to products containing chemical fragrances/chemicals in general, they smell weird to me now. I have changed my lifestyle to include only natural/nature derived/nature friendly products, be it for hair/skin/body. That way I hope that I contribute towards reducing my carbon foot print in my own small way.

Packaging:

A very sturdy and luxurious looking packaging, with a double walled tub containing the product.

Swatch:

The first thing you will notice or rather I notice is the fragrance of the product, which in this case is heavenly. The cream reminds me of a particular flower, which one I am not sure of but very pleasent (something on the lines of jasmine I think). But the scent is quiet light and natural, nothing too overpowering for those of us with sensitive noses. The scent does linger on for some time, though it dissipates after about 5-10 minutes for me.

Though the cream looks heavy-textured from the swatch above, actually it is quiet the opposite. The cream absorbs really fast into the skin, I should rather say that my skin drinks up the cream and it doesn't make my skin oily or greasy at all. The cream just seems to sink in and give a natural glow and softness to my skin.

The swatch above is enough to cover my entire face and neck area, so the cream lasts a long time, I have been using it for more than a month now and haven't been able to finish half of it yet. So, with regular usage it would easily last for three months, I guess.

Now coming to the effects on my skin, as I said earlier I have acne prone skin and though this cream is quiet good, light weight and with a lot of natural products, after using it for two-three days, I notice bumps on my face. That may be due to a multitude of reasons and I have tried to use it on and off, but every time I end up with a pimple/acne to be precise. So, now I have been using it only for the weekends to pamper my skin.

Overall, a great cream for girls with dry skin but for someone like me with adult and acne prone skin, I would advice otherwise.

Have you tried the Lavera Re-Energizing Sleeping Cream? Do let me know your experiences in the comments section below.

See ya...
