Weleda Arnika Massage Oil

Hello beauties,

Another winter special product for me, which was again an impulsive purchase but has turned out to be a real game changer for me and for my mother-in-law. I am writing about the Weleda Arnika Massage Oil, which at the time of purchase seemed like a pretty good product and in fcat has proven that sometimes, the best buys are impulsive buys. Read on to know more about the Oil...

Price: I got this for around 12 Euros (for 100 ml of the product)

Ingredient list:

A small list of ingredients indeed, just how I like without any preservatives (super like :) ).

The oil comes housed in a green coloured heavy glass bottle, gives typical feeling of Dabur amla Hair Oil from yesteryears. The bottle has a typical pin hole opening and dispenses just the right amount of product. You can easily control the amount of product you need.

The oil itself is yellowish green in color with a strong ayurvedic/herbal scent (not for the faint hearted). The smell stayed for a good half an hour before dispensing. So do check your tolerance for the smell before buying. I didn't find the smell too bothersome and therefore went ahead with the purchase.

Now coming to the use of the oil as a massage oil, Arnica in general has been used as a pain killer since ages. Sometimes after a relatively heavy day of running around and sweating it out in the kitchen, my feet and legs feel all soar. It is on those days that this oil has been of a really great help. I massage the oil over my aching tendons and feet and feel my muscles relax. Further, there is no need to take any pain medication after a massage with this oil.

Also sometimes, cervical pain crops up on my neck and once again this oil comes to be my saviour. The texture of the oil is quiet light (I expected it to be quiet heavy). The oil spreads easily and lets you massage for a good 3-5 minutes before getting adsorbed into the skin. By the next morning, I don't remember any pains or aches I had in my body.

I picked up this wonderful product in Germany (availability in India is a issue) and would love to buy it again once I run out. It has helped me a lot with the running around and since it is a natural product I prefer it over any medication any day :).
